This is a cel from DBZ episode 32 "Spirit Bomb Away". This is from the scene where Oozaru Vegeta keeps Goku from being able to charge up the Spirit Bomb. This cel comes from the part where Goku uses the Solar Flare attack in order to buy some time and blind the giant ape.

Wow, what can I say about this one?! This is by far one of my favorite Dragonball Z cels I own and is an absolute beauty to see in person! I loved this part in the show as it was really exciting to see how the heck Goku was going to defeat Oozaru Vegeta. Not having watched Dragonball when I was younger, I was unaware of the Solar Flare attack so this was the first time I ever saw it being used. I really enjoyed when the characters used it because of the pretty blue color that came off as a result. (The Solar Flare looks great in animation and I love the fact that Goku is entirely blue in this cel. Too cool!) Also Goku's Solar Flare (...er...Tien's heh) was one of the moves I liked to mimic when playing with my friends at school. Much like the Kamehameha, I tried to make this move work more often then I should have (...meaning more than once :P). I miss the days when all us 90's kids really thought we could shoot beams of light from our fingers/faces with enough training haha. Anyways, I am really excited to add this stunning cel to my collection. This is one of the cels that makes me crack open my DBZ cel book just so I can stare and drool over it for ten minutes. ^_^

Note: I placed the cel over a black background in the main image to show off the white lines.

I've also decided to add a youtube video of the scene in which each of my pieces of production art appears. (Just a warning that spoilers for the episode will be included). This cel appears at about 0:20. I hope some of you viewers out there enjoy these clips! Also, my apologies for any videos that may have become broken without my noticing. I edited these myself and are from my own youtube account, so I'll try to make sure they're running. xP
