This is a storyboard set for the intro of the sixth opening of Inuyasha, episodes 154-167. (Ironically, I think this is my most disliked opening music-wise lol. I like the somber stuff better...). All of the drawings on these pages are scanned copies except for the red pen markings.

When I saw this set go up on Mandarake with the copy of the storyboard for the seventh ending (one of my favorite Inuyasha EDs, and my main want) I decided to go ahead and bid on it because I thought it would be cool to have some production art from it. Even though these are copies, I just love looking at the details of how the animators thought up each scene. Love the fact that the red pen markings aren't part of the copy and are actually real markings done by the animators. It's interesting to see how they were planning out everything. ^_^

I also decided to take my time out to add screenshots to each shot so it'd be easier to compare the drawings to the actual scenes from the show. I have probably gotten some stuff wrong (since I know some boxes are about panning the scene over and such, and I can't read Japanese!), but either way I think it looks pretty neat! I hope some of you other Inuyasha fans out there also enjoy looking at these as much as I do. =)

I've also decided to add a youtube video of this intro scene. Just a warning that spoilers for episode 167 will be included because that's the intro shot that was on my computer. xP
