This is a great douga set from Inuyasha episode 4 "Yura of the Demon-Hair". This is from the scene where Kagome realizes that all of the demonic hairs link to one single red skull. Yura stops her assault on Inuyasha when she realizes that Kagome is working on destroying the skull by repeatedly hammering it with an arrow. Luckily she manages to break it in seconds before the sword Yura whips at her reaches her head.

I absolutely adore this scene! This is one of my favorite scenes in the show because this is the exact moment where Kagome really proves herself to Inuyasha and gains his respect. (Funny that one of her first big accomplishments with an arrow didn't include it's bow.) After this, he finally refers to her by her name instead of insults like stupid, dummy, idiot....or Kikyo, which he originally called her by mistake at first haha. I love being able to own pieces of production art from this scene as it really is one of the greatest moments between early Inuyasha and Kagome. (Plus I also really love the fact that Inuyasha doesn't have his haori on because he gave it to Kagome for protection. Cute!)

This is actually a set of 3 separate sketches (Inuyasha, the sword, and Kagome), but I decided to combine them all to recreate the screenshot for my gallery. I think it looks cool this way. ^_^

And lastly I want to give a HUGE thanks to D123 for giving me the chance to add this scene to my gallery. In discussing the possible sale of it's cel, she wasn't quite ready to let it go but instead offered me the sketch set just for the price of shipping. Safe to say I was completely surprised at the unexpected and extremely kind gesture! I can't give enough thanks to her for this sort of kindness. It's a rare thing nowadays to meet someone who will give you something purely out of the kindness of their heart, so I'm very appreciative of D123's decision to let me have these sketches. This is a great scene from Inuyasha, and I'm very thankful to share it with a great person! (You can view the corresponding cel in her gallery here. ^_^)

I've also decided to add a youtube video of the scene in which each of my pieces of production art appears. (Just a warning that spoilers for the episode will be included). This sketch appears at about 0:04. I hope some of you viewers out there enjoy these clips! Also, my apologies for any videos that may have become broken without my noticing. I edited these myself and are from my own youtube account, so I'll try to make sure they're running. xP
