This is a great genga sketch of Naraku from the second Inuyasha movie "The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass". Screenshot pictured next to it. This is from the beginning of the movie where Sango, Miroku, and Kagome are fighting off Naraku while a vulnerable and mortal Inuyasha hides out of sight. This is from the scene where Kagome has just shot an arrow at Naraku's arm, diverting his attention from choking Miroku. When the arrow catches him off guard, Naraku looks back at her in shock as it pierces through his body.

I'm happy to say this is my first production piece of Naraku, one of the coolest anime villains I've ever had the pleasure of watching. (Frieza is still tops though heh.) Naraku is definitely one of the reasons why I love this show. You know a show is good when you end up liking the villain that tortures all of your favorite characters lol. He's just so badass and manipulative. Love it!

I'm really excited to have this sketch in my collection. It's beautifully done and I love that he has such a dramatic and shocked expression on his face. You don't normally get to see Naraku stunned, so I think it's nice to be able to add a rare shot like this to my gallery, especially since it's my first piece of him! I also really enjoy the fact that it came from the second movie too. ^_^ I want to collect at least one piece of art from each Inu movie, so this was a nice addition to that goal as well!

Lastly, this came with a second sketch (as seen in the second picture). It's a drawing of some of the blobs of flesh that fly out of Naraku's arm from Kagome's arrow, as pictured in the screenshot.

I've also decided to add a youtube video of the scene in which each of my pieces of production art appears. (Just a warning that spoilers for the episode will be included). This sketch appears at about 0:27. I hope some of you viewers out there enjoy these clips! Also, my apologies for any videos that may have become broken without my noticing. I edited these myself and are from my own youtube account, so I'll try to make sure they're running. xP
