This is an amazing cel from the Dr. Seuss animated special "The Cat In The Hat", produced in 1971. In this scene, the Cat is singing his name in different languages to the children while playing the piano. At this moment, he is wearing a German hat as opposed to his normal one.

I'm amazed that I was able to get such a fine cel from one of my most favorite animations ever! When I was little I was a HUGE Dr. Seuss fan and even learned how to read using the book Green Eggs and Ham. This cel is absolutely special to me because I grew up reading The Cat in the Hat, and watched this cartoon every year. I still get just as excited around Christmas time as I did when I was younger to be able to watch The Grinch and The Cat In The Hat on TV.

I also really adore that this cel is during one of the most memorable songs of the Dr. Seuss animations. I'm truly lucky to own such a great cel, and I definitely consider this one a historical piece of animation.

I've also decided to add a youtube video of the scene in which each of my pieces of production art appears. (Just a warning that spoilers for the episode will be included). This cel appears at about 1:19. I hope some of you viewers out there enjoy these clips! Also, my apologies for any videos that may have become broken without my noticing. I edited these myself and are from my own youtube account, so I'll try to make sure they're running. xP
